This is an original Inca Trail that combines adrenaline and excitement, passing through 5 archaeological sites along this trail, we will walk for 4 hours to reach our Deluxe Domes with a view of the city of Cusco in Inkilltambo camp awaits us a delicious lunch, then we will have the opportunity to enjoy a bonfire night. The second day is full of adrenaline and time to enjoy the Andean gastronomy being part of the process of preparation of the Pachamanca after helping in the preparation, then we will get on the ATVs to ride around and then return to our domes, so we can take a hot shower and eat the Pachamanca.
We pick you up from your hotel at approx. 9:00 a.m. then we travel by transport for approx. 30 minutes to the Moon Temple, where we will start our hike. 30 minutes to the Temple of the Moon, where our hike will begin, the guide will explain you, then we will walk for approx 40 minutes along the Inca Trail to reach the Temple of the Monkeys where we will have a brief explanation by the guide about this archaeological site, then we will continue walking for 1 hour and 20 minutes passing through a forest full of eucalyptus trees and small waterfalls to reach the archaeological site of Inkilltambo, then we will continue walking for another 30 minutes to reach Machu Choquequirao, which is another archaeological site along this Inca Trail so walking only 30 minutes more we will arrive to our Domes Camp which has a view to Cusco City, our Domes are full of comfort with hot shower surrounded by nature, our chef is waiting for us with a delicious lunch, but before lunch we will have a show of our Peruvian dish Ceviche and Pisco sour after this activity we relax in our camps and we will have a bonfire.
We serve breakfast in the domes around 7 to 8 am. We will help our chefs to prepare an ancient dish called Pachamanca which process takes a little time because we have to dig a hole in the ground and heat the stones finally we put it in the hole Andean products like sweet potatoes, beans, yucca roots, chicken, lamb, pork and trout then we cover it with Andean herbs, and cover with Andean blankets, then we bury, and it will take 3 to 4 hours to cook while we wait we will get on our ATV’s and explore the surroundings for about 3 hours we will pass through beautiful landscapes full of greenery returning to our Domes Camp in Cusco to eat our Pachamanca after this activity we will take our transportation arriving to Cusco at 4 pm.
