Transportation from the hotel to the train station and train to Km 104. At this point we start the hike for approx. 3 hours to the well preserved remains of the ruins of Wiñaywayna (2,900 m. altitude). On the way we can see beautiful waterfalls. After lunch, we continue walking for approx. 2 more hours to reach the sun gate and then descend to the village of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes).
After breakfast, we start early and walk for 1:30 minutes to get one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of modern times. Machu Picchu, so go to where is the most beautiful place, the place to take postcard pictures and the guide will explain you the history of Machu Picchu for approx. 2 hours and then you will have free time so you can explore by yourself (you can climb Huayna Picchu mountain (it takes 1 hour to climb up and 1 hour to climb down). And after enjoying Machu Picchu you should be at Aguas Calientes station to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then the bus back to Cusco.
