Early in the morning ready to start our trek. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and we will drive through the Sacred Valley until we reach the city of Calca to head to the town of Lares, the trip takes approx. 3 hours. From here we start our trek to Quishuarani. Here we meet our rider and pack the horses. The hike will take us about 2:30 hours. When we arrive, our camp would have been set up for us. In the free time we have we can meet some of the local “campesinos” and see some weaving techniques. This is a lovely day full of great scenery and the opportunity to visit several Andean villages.
