Day 01

Cusco - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes

Our agency Machu Picchu Peru Tours will pick you up from your place of accommodation or at a meeting point between 7:30 and 8:00 am. to then begin the tour of Machu Picchu in Aguas Calientes, we will travel through the Sacred Valley, during this trip we can appreciate different villages and climatic changes of the Andes to tropical places, we will arrive at Human Marca where we will be waiting for a buffet lunch, and then continue our journey driving to Hydroelectric where we will begin our hike to the town of Aguas Calientes, the trip will be approx. 1:30 to 2 hours.

When we arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu village), our guide will place you in your respective lodges with private bathroom and hot water, we will have dinner at night and at that time our guide will give you general information about our visit to Machu Picchu, you have the option to go to the hot springs.

Day 02

Machu Picchu - Hydroelectric - Cusco

We will wake up around 4:00 am to start the hike will be approx. 1:30 minutes, the point of this is so we can appreciate the sunrise from the Inca city and be the first to reach the top, we will make a 2 hour tour inside Machu Picchu, and then you will have free time to explore on your own.

After our visit to Machu Picchu, around 11:30 am, we will walk back to Aguas Calientes, then we will walk for three hours towards Hydrolectrica bus station to take the bus back to cusco for about 6 hours so we will be back in cusco at around 10 pm.
