We will pick you up from your hotel at 8 am and drive to the agricultural laboratory in Moray. This trip takes about 1:20 minutes. On your trip, you will see the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. Then we will arrive at the fascinating terraces of Moray, this has three amphitheater-like terraces, made by the Incas.
When you finish exploring Moray, we will head to the salt mines of Maras. This town is known as an ancient center of salt production and is believed to date back to pre-Inca times. There are over 4000 salt pools carved into the mountainside, which are filled daily by a stream of water. This spectacular area is perfect for you if you want to see something different from the ruins.
Finally we will head to Chinchero, a small Andean village located at 3,762m. above sea level, in Anta, about 30 km from Cusco. Its main tourist attraction is its colorful market, this market is held every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, but if your trip is not one of those days, you can visit another smaller textile center that is open every day. Finally, you can visit the famous Roman Catholic church, built over the Inca palace.
